Nokia is going to launch its new touchscreen with Symbian S40 enabled mobile phone namely, Nokia Asha 201. The Asha 201 comes with a 2.4-inch TFT resistive touchscreen 256K colors display as well as a QWERTY keyboard for easy typing. The handset comes equipped with 10MB internal memory, 64MB ROM, 32MB RAM, and supports microSD card of up to 32GB for memory expansions.
The upcoming Nokia Asha 201 S40-based touch & type phone comes in eight attractive color such as; Graphite, Green, Blue, Aqua, Pearl White, Light Pink, Pink, Orange. It measures only 115.4 x 61.1 x 14 mm, 47.7 cc, and weighs around 105 grams with battery. It’s boasts a Li-Ion 1430 mAh (BL-5J) standard battery, that’s delivering 37 days of standby time, up to 7 hrs talk time, and up to 52 hrs music playback time. Reportedly, the Nokia Asha 201 will not be shipped until Q1 2012. Its sale pack will contain, the Nokia Asha 201, Nokia BL-5J 1430mAh battery, Nokia charger AC-11, Nokia stereo headset WH-102.
