So far at the Mobile World Congress, we have seen many cool devices getting launched and many more technologies being introduced. Taking the full advantage of such situation, Samsung introduced Samsung Galaxy Mini 2. Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is a basic Android smartphone and is successor to the previous model. We can consider Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 to be an entry-level smartphone although it doesn’t feel that cheap.
The design of Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is nice. Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 looks compact and comfortable while holding in hands. In the front, Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 has a 3.27-inch display which supports 320 x 480 pixels resolution. We were impressed with the display as we thought at least an entry-level smartphone has a decent display resolution.
Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 at the Mobile World Congress 2012 runs Android 2.3 and with this there might be a possibility that at the time of launch it will run Gingerbread too. I hope this is isn’t true because it will be good if the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 runs Ice Cream Sandwich one day. Talking of the performance, Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 is packed with a 800 MHz processor with 512 MB RAM and which showed no signs of trouble while operating this handset. Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 has a 3 megapixels camera on its back- wish it could me more. Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 also features a digital music player, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, microSD slot and 4 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 also has TouchWiz.
