Sony Xperia S: HSPA
Nokia Lumia 900:HSDPA+ (4G) 21.1 Mbit/s, 4G LTE

We don’t know the reasons why the Sony Xperia S still stick on HSPA radio instead of 4G LTE connectivity which are now used on most high-end smartphones in spite of power-hungry battery.

Nokia Lumia 900:Li-Ion 1830 mAh

The users of the Nokia Lumia 900 seems to re-charge their device more often since the 1850mAh battery isn’t large enough to power 4G LTE handsets.

Bottom Line
On some respects, the Sony Xperia S is better than the Lumia 900 such as dual-core processor and RAM, storage, and camera, but on the other hands, the Lumia 900 comes with 4G LTE connectivity that is expected to deliver super speed when dealing with data transfer.

So, if you are a heavy internet user that needs a super fast connectivity and doesn’t mind working with a single-core processor with 512MB of RAM, the Nokia Lumia is your phone. But, if you need a powerful handset coming with a dual-core chipset with 1GB of RAM as well as a big expandable memory on board, the Sony Xperia S is a good option.
